Directions

The Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre is based on the campus of Limerick Institute of Technology in the heart of Limerick and the Mid-West region.

Travelling from:

Limerick
When travelling from Limerick City (the Thomond Park direction) you will take the third exit at the LIT Roundabout entering the LIT campus. The Millennium Theatre is on your left and the Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre is on your right.

Dublin
If travelling by car from Dublin (N7) you will generally follow the signs for Limerick City Centre and Shannon Airport to get to LIT. On the approach to Greater Limerick, there is a series of Roundabouts. Please take the 3RD Exit (not the new DUAL Carriageway) at the first roundabout and go straight throught the next three. The fifth one is the Parkway Roundabout and again take the 2nd exit. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (right) onto Abbey Bridge (city centre area). After one kilometre, you will meet a set of traffic lights. Proceed straight through. At next roundabout take first exit. You will pass the historical St. Johns Castle on your left. Continue straight at next two sets of traffic lights - passing the famous Thomond Park (home of Munster Rugby) on your right. At the LIT Roundabout, take the third exit entering LIT. The fantastic Millenium Theatre is on your left and the Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre is on your right.

Waterford/Tipperary
If travelling by car from Waterford/Tipperary (N24) again follow the signs for Limerick City Centre and Shannon Airport. Go straight throught the first roundabout and take the 3rd exit at the 2nd one (Tipperary Road Roundabout). Take the 2nd exit at the Parkway Roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (right) onto Abbey Bridge (city centre area). After one kilometre, you will meet a set of traffic lights. Proceed straight through. At next roundabout take first exit. You will pass the historical St. Johns Castle on your left. Kerry/ Cork
If travelling by car from Kerry/ Cork (N20/N21), you will be travelling on the Adare-Limerick dual carraigeway on the approach to Greater Limerick. Take first exit at first roundabut and you will pass the Quality Hotel on your right. Take the right at the T junction (traffic lights) signposted Shannon Airport. Take 2nd Exit at next roundabout and proceed to Tipperary Road Roundabout. Take 2nd Exit again and proceed to Parkway Roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (right) onto Abbey Bridge (city centre area). After one kilometre, you will meet a set of traffic lights. Proceed straight through. At next roundabout take first exit. You will pass the historical St. Johns Castle on your left. Galway/Shannon
If travelling by car from Galway/Shannon (N17), you will pass the Radisson SAS Hotel on your right on the approach to Greater Limerick. Take the 2nd exit off the first (Coonagh) roundabout at the end of Dual Carraigeway onto the Ennis Road signposted City Centre. Go left at first set of traffic lights at Ivans shop. Proceed for about one mile to the LIT Roundabout, where you will take the 2nd exit to enter LIT. The fantastic Millenium Theatre is on your left and the Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre is on your right.

Parking

Limited parking is provided at the side of the Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre so take the first right turn on entering the campus. Please ask your host or at reception for a ‘Temporary Parking Permit’ to display on your dashboard in order to avoid being clamped.

Other information for Visitors

To assist visitors to the Centre who visit out of office hours, we have installed an Intercom system adjacent to our front door entrance so that you can talk to the person whom you are visiting if they are in their EAC office.

Using the intercom, visitors may call any telephone extension (last 3 digits of phone number) connected to the EAC telephone system. The person answering the telephone can talk to their visitor for 30 seconds. There is a list of company extensions and easy instructions for using the system posted beside the intercom unit.
